Opportunity: SNappy Operas production/ company manager
We are looking for a Production/ Company Manager to join our team as we begin the next the leg of our nationwide Children & Young People's project - Snappy Operas.
Mahogany Opera Group is a leading opera and music theatre company specialising in creating and touring new work. We exist to stretch the boundaries of what opera can be and who it is for.
Snappy Operas is Mahogany’s ambitious nationwide project to create ten new mini-operas working with 10 regional partners over the coming two years. Each opera is created with and designed to be performed for young people aged 7-11 (Key Stage 2).
We are looking for a Production/ Company Manager to join our team as we enter the second year of the project. The person in this hybrid role will be involved in all the logistical aspects, planning and scheduling involved in running a project of this scope. They will also be the main liaison between our teams delivering the project around the country and Mahogany. We are looking for someone who is flexible and resourceful and has 2 - 3 years of professional experience working in stage management in the performing arts.
